Research Programs and Human Resources
The majority of the research is carried out by young researchers, doctoral candidates, and postdoctoral fellows. The research programs and doctoral dissertations supported within the framework of basic and applied research are indicative of the thematic scope of the School’s research activities.
The research activities of the School are primarily funded by:
- European programs/funds,
- National research and development programs, as well as cooperation agreements with public entities,
- Specific projects from industry, companies, public benefit foundations, etc.
Funded research is managed through the Research Committee of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
